Charming old mansion with character
We stayed two nights in a standard twin room. The place has a lot of history and charm with cool features like stone staircases. It's a bit worn down, but still lovely. The kids loved wandering the grounds. The dining area was festive, but food was average, especially the roast potatoes – what a letdown for a Christmas meal!

The surroundings featured beautiful sweeping lawns and mature trees, offering a serene atmosphere. the room's decor was tired, with dirty walls, broken furniture, and a notably absent TV, despite a stand being present. Breakfast was a challenge, marked by malfunctioning equipment and an unwelcoming breakfast supervisor, making the experience less enjoyable.

We had an awesome time at the hotel with friends! The staff were really friendly, and the location made it easy to explore nearby attractions, like the museum dedicated to the game of rugby football and Rugby School, only 2 miles away. Don't miss walking around the lovely grounds!
One downside was the slow service in the restaurant. We did have to wait longer than expected for our food, which was a bit frustrating.

Comfortable Stay in a Charming Setting
Our stay was quite pleasant, with spacious accommodations offering modern amenities. The peaceful surroundings allowed for a restful night. I recommend visiting nearby pubs for breakfast instead of dining at the hotel, as they offer delicious options at a better price. Don't miss the lovely grounds for a stroll!
